Setlists
Setlists organize your songs for a specific gig or rehearsal.
Creating a Setlist
Section titled “Creating a Setlist”- Go to the Setlists tab
- Tap New Setlist
- Enter a name (e.g., “Saturday Night Gig”)
- Optionally link it to a calendar event (gig or rehearsal)
Adding Songs
Section titled “Adding Songs”- Search and add songs from your library
- Section markers — Add markers like “SET 1”, “SET 2”, “ENCORE” to visually separate your sets
- Reorder by dragging songs within the setlist
- Song groups — Insert reusable song templates (like ”80s Medley”) with one tap
AI Setlist Generation
Section titled “AI Setlist Generation”Pro users can generate setlists with AI:
- Generate from prompt — Describe what you want (“45-minute high-energy rock set”) and AI picks songs from your library
- Optimize order — AI reorders an existing setlist for better flow, considering key changes, tempo pacing, and energy curves
Features
Section titled “Features”Duration Tracking
Section titled “Duration Tracking”See the total setlist duration in real-time as you add and remove songs. Each section shows its own duration too, so you can balance your sets.
Soundman View
Section titled “Soundman View”Share a read-only link with your sound engineer showing PA notes and song order. They can follow along during the gig without needing an account.
Calendar Integration
Section titled “Calendar Integration”Link setlists to gigs or rehearsals in your calendar. When you open an upcoming event, the linked setlist is one tap away.
Song Groups
Section titled “Song Groups”Reusable song templates for sequences you play together regularly. Create a group (e.g., ”90s Medley”), add songs in order, then insert the whole group into any setlist with one tap.
Performance Mode
Section titled “Performance Mode”During a gig:
- Swipe through songs on touch devices
- Arrow keys for keyboard navigation
- The current song is highlighted with chord sheet, lyrics, or MIDI automation visible
- MIDI program changes are sent automatically when you advance
- Song steps let you navigate within songs (verse → chorus → bridge)
- TTS song announcements can read out the next song title through your earpiece
Follow Leader
Section titled “Follow Leader”During performance, one band member can act as the leader and broadcast their song and step navigation to all followers in real-time. Followers’ screens automatically jump to the leader’s current song and step — no manual navigation needed.
This is useful when the band leader calls out the next song and everyone needs to be on the same page instantly, or when the setlist changes mid-gig.
Starting a Session
Section titled “Starting a Session”- Open a setlist in performance mode
- Tap the Presence icon in the setlist header
- Choose Lead — your device starts broadcasting
- Band members who open the same modal and tap Follow will sync to your position
Connecting as a Follower
Section titled “Connecting as a Follower”Followers can connect by:
- QR code — Scan the QR code displayed in the leader’s modal to connect instantly
- Band member list — Select the leader from the list of online band members
What Syncs
Section titled “What Syncs”- Current song in the setlist
- Current step within the song
Followers’ screens update automatically when the leader advances. Personal settings (transpose, MIDI devices, theme) are not affected.
Deleting Setlists
Section titled “Deleting Setlists”Deleting a setlist moves it to the Bin, where it can be restored within 30 days. After 30 days, it is automatically purged. Restore or permanently delete from Settings > Bin.
Printing Setlists
Section titled “Printing Setlists”Print your setlist for backup or to share with band members who prefer paper:
- Open a setlist
- Tap the Print button
- A printer-friendly view opens
